After 14 years directing the acclaimed vocal ensemble, Kitka, Bon Singer felt a calling to combine her musical talent with her spiritual path. Her vision to create a group that would blend the beautiful prayers of many traditions with the Balkan and Middle Eastern musical styles she loved was the seed that blossomed into Ya Elah.
